Directions to the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office and Brooke Courthouse:

By Train

Green Line: Exit at the Government Center stop. From the exit, turn slightly left and walk along Cambridge Street. At the next intersection, cross to the opposite side of New Sudbury Street and turn right. The offices are in the second building on the left at 1 Bulfinch Place.

Orange Line: Exit at the Haymarket stop. From the exit, turn right onto New Congress Street. Turn left onto New Sudbury Street, walking uphill. The office is located on the right.

Blue Line: Exit at the Bowdoin stop. From the exit, walk straight ahead and up the stairs. Turn left onto New Sudbury Street. The office is in the second building on the left at 1 Bulfinch Place.

Red Line: Change to the green line (inbound) at Park Street or the orange line (inbound) at Downtown Crossing and follow directions above.

By Car

There is no designated parking for the District Attorney’s Office, the Brooke Courthouse, the Suffolk County Courthouse or the Suffolk County Grand Jury. There are privately-owned parking garages located on New Sudbury Street (with entrances on New Sudbury Street and New Chardon Street) and at Post Office Square.

From West and Central: Take the Pass Pike (I-90) East to Exit 18 (Cambridge). After tolls, follow signs toward Cambridge and Storrow Drive. Travel approximately 3 miles and exit at Cambridge Street. Follow Cambridge Street, past Mass General Hospital into Government Center. For the Suffolk County DA’s Office, turn left onto New Sudbury Street. The office is in the second building on the left; the entrance to the parking garage is fifty yards down New Sudbury Street on the left. For the <b>Brooke Courthouse</b>, turn left onto New Chardon Street from Cambridge Street. The building is on the left at the second light. The entrance to the parking garage is on the right before the light.

ALTERNATE VIA MASS PIKE and FITZGERALD EXPRESSWAY: Take the Mass Pike (I-90) East to the end. Follow signs to Fitzgerald Expressway North (Rt. 3/I-93 North) to the Exit Marked Government Center/North End/Causeway St. Proceed down the ramp and make a right onto Medford St. and bear right onto N. Washington St. Continue back under the highway you just exited from and bear right onto New Chardon St. The Brooke Courthouse is two blocks down, on the right. For the Suffolk County DA’s Office, continue up New Chardon Street and turn left at the next light onto Bulfinch Place. The office is at the end of the block, on the left.

From Northeast and North Shore:  Take the better of I-93 South or Route 1 South into Boston to the Exit marked Haymarket Square/Government Center. At the end of ramp, take a right and proceed through the traffic lights on New Chardon St. The Brooke Courthouse is two blocks down, on the right. For the Suffolk County DA’s Office, continue up New Chardon Street and turn left at the next light onto Bulfinch Place. The office is at the end of the block, on the left.

From Southeast, South Shore and Cape Cod: Take best route to Boston via I-93/Southeast Expressway North. Continue on the highway as it becomes Fitzgerald Expressway near the Mass Pike. Continue North on the Fitzgerald Expressway past the Callahan Tunnel. Take the Exit Marked Government Center/North End/Causeway St. Proceed down the ramp and make a right onto Medford St. and bear right onto N. Washington St. Continue back under the highway you just exited from and bear right onto New Chardon St. The Brooke Courthouse is two blocks down, on the right. For the Suffolk County DA’s Office, continue up New Chardon Street and turn left at the next light onto Bulfinch Place. The office is at the end of the block, on the left.
